Overview

Dalhousie is a small hill town above Pathankot. Days are walks, a Khajjiar meadow drive, and either Dainkund or Kalatop — not a packed sightseeing circuit.

  • Khajjiar is a grassy bowl with a small lake, not an alpine resort. Zorbing and ponies are optional and paid there.
  • March–June and September–November are the usual months. Snow is possible in winter but roads can ice.
