Overview

The temple usually opens in spring and closes in late autumn. Confirm the official dates for your year before you book.

  • From Janki Chatti it is about 6 km on foot. Pony and palki are hired at the stand and are not in the land price.
  • Barkot is the usual halt. The temple sits a little above 3,200 m — take the rest day seriously if you are coming from the plains.
